who we are ?

My name is Diogo Pimentel. I am a 30-year-old Portuguese chef and I have spent the last decade living and working in the UK, building my career in the hospitality industry.Throughout these years, I have worked in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, managing a major restaurant chain and taking on key responsibilities such as menu development, staff training, quality control, and stock management. These experiences shaped not only my technical skills, but also my understanding of leadership, consistency, and excellence.Over time, I realised that what truly drives me is not just cooking food, but creating experiences — moments that stay with people long after the meal is over.That is how Private Chef Pimentel was born, a project I proudly run alongside my partner and right hand, Guida.Guida is much more than a partner — she is the soul of the service. As our front-of-house lead, she ensures that every experience flows seamlessly, from the atmosphere and table setup to the presentation and service of each dish. Her attention to detail, elegance, and natural hospitality transform every dinner into a warm, refined, and truly memorable moment.Together, we bring the fine dining experience into the comfort of your home, crafting moments that go far beyond a traditional meal.A private chef is more than someone who cooks — it is a fully personalised gastronomic experience, designed around your tastes, preferences, and expectations.
